Bruce David's Story
got married in early '69 and enlisted-requested viet nam
survived the war but not the marriage.
came back to wakefield and knocked about for 5 years, sitting on the library wall and working for the town. went to u-mass boston in 75 but moved to texas in 76.
painted houses and worked the oil patch until 80 when i went to rhodesia to fight against mugabe (he won)
went back to texas and got married again and divorced
moved to oakland, ca in 85 to build yachts.
in 87 i moved my 18 yo to new hampshire to live with her grandmother.
met someone in NH, had kids...Expand for more
, got married and bought a house.
stayed 18 years in NH working in a gravel pit before moving to tampa fl where we are today
along the way i have worked as a painter, a welder a body guard, a soldier, ditch digger, carpenter, oil rig mechanic, boat builder, heavy equipment operater and a few other things, too.
never flipped burgers or sold kirby's
been the help, the foreman and, a couple of times i was the boss.
have soldiered on two continents for two different governments, lived in 6 states, and traveled thru all but 2 states(north dakota and alaska)
